Volunteer at our School

Marang Beyai Memorial Nursery is a community school entirely dependent on donations and fundraising. The school is in a deprived area and in need of support/volunteers and child sponsorship. The school has over 150 children ages between 3 to 7 years.

We are looking for volunteers to come and join our dynamic school to teach or to engage in a fundraising to support a child, school meals, uniforms or stationaries.

The principal would welcome the following skills and volunteers.

ECD professionals
Nursery and pre-school classroom assistants
Creative play development
Arts and crafts teachers
Classroom management
Education administrators

Sharing ideas with local teachers about maximising available free resources and low cost items would be invaluable.

Your work with the staff and children of Marang Beyai Memorial Nursery will contribute to the development of a sustainable education programme for The Gambia’s youngest and most vulnerable children.
